Helloo I have a confusion about two questions. Is there any difference between 'Why are you going to USA and 'Why usa?' I am asking because these two question's context is different. Why are you going to usa means my purpose of going to usa. And 'why usa' means why i particularly chose usa for studying. The first question's ans will be a little shorter than the second one. But the officer is telling to elaborate more and more in the first qs. So what am i supposed to do?

Got my visa approved last Friday. Alhamdullilah. Questions were simple and my answers were appropriate and truthful. She first asked me 1- whats your purpose of visiting US? (I said family get togetherh 2- where does your sister live in the US? (I gave her state) 3- where have you traveled before? (Told the 2 countries and reason why, saudia for umrah. Maldives for honeymoon) 4- how long will you be staying? (Only 10 days its a very short trip) And few other very simple questions that were mentioned in my DS160. after that she approved my visa and congratulated. Just be truthful and have a straight forward case. If theres nothing fishy, and you’re confidence they’ll give you visa😊

Hi I have an upcoming appointment. But I can not retrieve my ds 160 confirmation. I have a page saved from the time when I was applying for ds 160 but it is not the confirmation. It just shows the correct number. I booked my appointment prior to Nov 15, but then had to reschedule. What should I do. Is there any way to update the ds 160 number in my appointment confirmation before going for the dropbox?

It's been 5 months, and she hasn't come back to her home country. Should I tell the officer that I have a relative living in the USA, or should I say that she is on vacation and will come back?

Depends on luck not interview. Everthing was perfect in interview. Job, family ties, purpose of travel....still refused. Nothing is in the hands of human being

Why visa officer gave Mr 214b with Parole application form

got my F1 visa approved yesterday. But I realized I made a mistake on my DS 160 university name during biometric. All the other information except my university name is correct. I am panicking and don't know what to do.
